Are you excited when you receive an email or see your name on the winners list of a contest, sweepstakes, giveaway or grant? Of course you are. I receive emails, Facebook messages, Facebook comments, and blog posts all the time from winners who have entered because it was seen here on Penniless Teacher. I’m not sure who is more excited, the winner, or me.
Winning what is posted here on Penniless Teacher is not impossible. Trust me, I see winners everyday! Enter each and every one of the posted contests……you never know when YOU will win–and I mean WILL WIN!
Back in January, I posted about about a contest to become one of nine 2013 Markle’s Book Explorers. Winning schools will receive books by author Sandra Markle, email and Skype visits. How thrilling for students to actually connect with the author of the books they love.
One of our loyal Penniless Teacher fans, Dawn Stokes Keenan-Banks, entered and was one of the schools selected.
