I have a BUNCH of boxes like the one pictured. These are super sturdy boxes and I know they can be used for something. I hate to throw away a perfectly good box!
The box is super slick, so I’m not sure if covering it will work unless you rough it up with sand paper.
I love the handle on the side and the velcro closure that is very strong. The inside has a cardboard insert that files could hang on, but you can pull that out for wide open space.
I know it would be great for storing crayons, markers, scissors for classroom storage. It could be a charging station for your phones, etc by laying the box on the side and drilling holes through the bottom. Slide in the ugly black boxes inside and close the lid. They would also make great blocks for kids, but that takes up lots of space.
Please share your creative ideas for transforming the box.

If you can’t cover it you may be able to paint it?
In the classroom you could use it to store student art (the masterpieces they give you that don’t really fit into a traditional folder), examples/ models, calculators, math manipulatives, etc.
You might be able to manipulate the dimensions a bit to store file folders.
This thing is so slick, I’m not sure anything will stick to it. I like the idea for storing student art. Great to send home at the end of the year! Although that’s a one time use. All great ideas Nicolle.
Thanks
