Video contests involving kids are so much fun to watch because of the innocence and complete conviction in what they are saying/doing.  This would be a great class project!  I didn’t see anything in the official rules as to the amount of children in the video, only that the video must be under 5 mins (that’s LONG).

Provide the prompt to the class:  “What does creativity mean to you?”

Brainstorm with the class various ways to present their individual responses to the question.  Maybe have each student illustrate the response to the prompt and film each holding up their image.

Explaining the rules of the contest along with the prizes will encourage their participation because they would be the recipient of the prizes in the end!

1st place winner:

• $500 Creativity for Kids Grand Prize Pack

2nd & 3rd place winner:

• $250 Creativity for Kids product prize pack each

Two random winners:

• $100 Creativity for Kids product prize packs each

Warning:  Be mindful of acquiring parental permission before submission.  Put a paper bag over their heads to solve that issue 🙂  Now, that’s creativity!
