Walmart is giving teachers 10% back on classroom supplies. Let’s hope you can price match some great sale items from Office Depot/Max, Staples, Target and other stores to take full advantage!
Shop WalMart between July 25-31, 2014 to purchase classroom supplies in stationery & Craft Departments. Hmmm, does that mean wipes, band-aids, and supplies not in those two departments don’t qualify? The fine print states:
“This offer excludes items in Walmart’s electronics, toys, sporting goods, apparel, automotive, hardware, home, consumables, outdoor living, health & wellness and grocery departments.”
Register your receipts on Walmart/teachers (Note: It doesn’t appear to be live yet.) BEFORE August 15, 2014
Teachers will receive 10% back on a Walmart eGift Card via email within 2 weeks. (use that to purchase the “non school supplies.”
Okay, so 10% is better than nothing, but teachers spend money in areas that have been disqualified by Walmart. A bittersweet Teacher Appreciation. Registration requirements remain to be seen as the site isn’t live yet. Start that list….I know you already have it in your mind!
