When my niece began school, she suffered terribly from not having her “sleeping things” (aka stuffed toys) with her.  She put on her brave every day gathering her courage to exit the car at drop off time every morning.  Why?  We have no idea, but many children are just like her.  The WONDERFUL, AMAZING, Miracle Working kindie teacher got her through it, just as many of you do.

To this day, at the ripe ole age of 8, she still loves and carries her stuffed animals with her.  The book Turtle and Me is perfect for children just like her as a read aloud.
