MyBotanicPlanet.com was created by TruGreen to inspire K-5 students’ interest in the diverse plant world, while meeting national education standards. The creative site’s educational characters Inspector Nectar and Flavor Flores help make students’ learning about botany even more fun. One lucky K-5 classroom will win the opportunity to have these entertaining characters step out of the virtual world and into their classroom to present a My Botanic PlanetSM lesson plan live. Entries will be accepted from October 1 – 31, 2011. The grand prize winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about November 10, 2011. Good luck!
