The Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive

Here’s a fun excuse to have a Pajama Party in your classroom, or the entire school for that matter. A fantastic way to teach children what giving can and does do.

The PJ Drive is one of the philanthropic classroom programs offered through ClassroomsCare that aims to teach kids the value of giving and the gift of reading. In two short years, The Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive has become the largest pj drive in Pajama Program’s history. Last year in November and early December, classrooms across America collected and donated more than 93,000 pairs of pajamas. Scholastic Book Clubs matched each one of those pairs of pajamas with a book donation to Pajama Program. Scholastic is hoping to see the third PJ Drive hit a new record of 125,000 pairs of pajamas-and, of course, matching books!

Drives should be complete by Dec. 9, 2011.
