@Terminix #Teacher Scholarship/Grant (X 4/15/14)

HarrysBigAdventureLogo-Optimized
Bugs, Bugs, Bugs, ick, ick, ick, ewww, ewww, ewww, (making the ugly face).

Harry’s Big Adventure Scholarship Program for Teachers is awarding TEN teachers with $500 for utilizing Harry’s Big Adventure curriculum in the classroom.

Using a praying mantis as the spokesBUG, Terminix seeks to increase the knowledge of students through greater understanding of bugs and their purpose in the ecosystem.  In other words, we NEED bugs despite disliking them.

Check out the program.  Many K-6 teachers may already cover the material and this program might add a spark for you and students.

    This is pretty cool…I never even knew they did scholarships for stuff like this for teachers. I’m sure you are helping many people get resources. Keep up the good work!
