Teachers – Super Powered Hearts

Dear American Citizens,

Have you seen the news about the teachers of Newtown, CT who put their lives on the line for students?  Maybe you watched the news yesterday where the teachers of Moore, OK placed themselves in the path of mother nature to protect the children placed in their care.

How do you place a price on a life?  The life of YOUR children?

How many acts of courage must teachers perform to prove that WE are not only professionals, we are professionals who act with our HEART.  WE are worth more than anyone could ever pay us.  We are teachers because we WANT to be teachers, regardless of the pay, working conditions and politics.

We are teachers because we LOVE children, because we WANT to make a difference in the life of a child.

Take the politics, testing and endless paperwork out of the path of knowledge transfer we bestow on future generations.  We are teachers, let us do what we do best, teach with love and heart!
