@Target Field Trip #Grant (X 9/30/14)

TargetFieldTripGrants8.7.14

I know you don’t want to think about field trips in early August, but you MUST.  The window to apply for Target Field Trip Grants just opened.  Any school nationwide educating K-12 students may apply. Field trips are not funded by any school, ease the burden of collecting funds from students and worrying about how you’re going to get the few students who can’t (or won’t) pay on that bus.

What field trip have you wanted your students to experience?  Think:  art museum, science museum, local historic areas, we have the oldest city in Florida, St. Augustine, Children’s theater….go for it.  Grant recipients (3,600 of them) will be announced in January 2015, plan for the second semester.

Apply for up to $700 toward your field trip through the Target Field Trip Grant program.

Ends Noon CST Sept 30, 2014

    What a great opportunity. If I apply and win a grant, am I responsible for coordinating the trip or will Target help me?

      I would assume the responsibility belongs to the teacher Tim. Check the FAQs at the link provided.
