Synopsys Outreach Foundation is awarding 10 grants to California K-8 teachers in the amount of $2,000 each to help them undertake class or school-wide projects intended to have a positive and measurable impact on the environment.
Applying is easy. Once you’ve developed your project idea, just fill out a short application and describe for us what you propose, your commitment to implementing it, and most importantly, the method of measuring its positive impact on the environment.
The projects will be implemented during the 2012-’13 school year, and all proposals are welcome-new and creative ones as well as traditional ones. To help you jump-start your ideas, we’ve included some sample projects with suggested goals, useful materials, timelines, and links to the CA State Science Standards.
Deadline: April 16, 2012 at 5 p.m.
