Snapdragon Book Foundation provides books to school libraries for disadvantaged children.  Grants awards range from $500 – $20,000.  Share this one with your librarian/media specialist!

Aside from the usual information, you are asked to provide the following:

• Please describe the student population served by your school.
• % Free and Reduced Lunch
• Average Attendance
• Number of Books in the School (estimate)

Note:  “project that include significant technology are not likely to be funded…..”

In addition, “A letter from the IRS designating the school as a tax exempt 501 ( c) (3) non-profit….. A website showing the school to be part of a larger public school district will suffice.”
