We welcomed the Summer Olympics with our own hand crafted torches. Simply Spray Paint asked me if I would like to test and review their Simply Spray Project Paint. Our original plan was a July 4th theme, but we ran into unexpected shipping issues.
Next we decided to make the super cute monster shoes I had seen all over Pinterest. I gathered up Kleenex boxes and off I went to my sister’s to make the monster shoes with my niece and nephew. That was a TOTAL disaster. It really helps when you read the directions.
After regrouping, we thought, The Olympics, are another great way to celebrate our country. We didn’t want to purchase anything, so we headed to the “craft” stash and found white poster board. With our Simply Spray Project Paint, we headed outside.
Simply Spray Project Paint comes out like a rocket! I would have like an adjustable nozzle. When the paint hits the surface, it splatters everywhere. Lessons learned with the Kleenex box prepared us to stand WAY back when spraying. Because of the super precise spray, we sprayed the paint and then used a brush to spread the paint. This was a two person job where we erupted with laughter every time. I would spray, my sister would rush in with the brush to spread the paint.
As we waited for the paint to dry we decided this paint would be PERFECT for making sports banners on sheets as we all have done in middle and high school. My sister the jock, cheerleader, coach, and sponsor of track, and cheerleading came up with that rather quickly. We highly recommend for those projects.
Simply Spray Paint is offering one Penniless Teacher 2 cans of Simply Spray Project Paint in the colors of their choice. Contest ends 8/15/12
