I have had the pleasure winning a Little Scholar a couple of years ago. We held a raffle at the local elementary school where one teacher told us, she almost didn’t enter because she just knew we would stack the giveaway and award the prize to one specific teacher. We do not roll that way. Fair is fair–that’s the way we conduct our giveaways. The teacher who almost didn’t enter was the winner. She just about fainted!
The Little Scholar is used in her Varying Exceptionalities classroom, grades K – 4, where students BEG to “play” on the “blue” tablet. Anyone notice how difficult it is to change the view of a student who thinks an educational item is a play thing? They are learning, that is the important thing.
