Playgrounds are EXPENSIVE and difficult to maintain.  I’ve seen our school district remove playground equipment from a school leaving nothing for students.  The school (likely the PTA/PTO) is responsible for raising the money to purchase and installing play equipment here!

One school will win a $50,000 Playground!  The winning school will WOW the judging panel with a 200 word essay explaining why the school is in need of a playground.  The person submitting the winning school application will win a check for $3,000!  (donate the money to the school!)
