We were all thrilled when Reading Rainbow made a come back just a short time ago.  You could be one of the Reading Rainbow Classroom Pilots.   Classroom teachers grades PreK-3rd should apply.  Participants receive:

• Hundreds of fiction and nonfiction books spanning various genres, topics and reading levels
• Newly produced video field trips hosted by LeVar Burton connecting the literature children read to real world experiences
• Educator developed supplemental lessons and student activities, aligned with standards to extend the learning
• Easy-to-use teacher management tools to track student’s reading activity
• New content added frequently continually expanding the reading experience
• Launching on web browsers and mobile devices
