Pacon Fadeless Paper Product Spotlight (X 9/28/14)

PaconFadelessPaperSpotlight

Pacon Corporation sent us their Fadeless Designs in GORGEOUS colors:

  1. Fadeless® Designs Chic Chevron – Yellow, 48″x12′
  2. Fadeless® Designs Chic Chevron – Lime, 48″x12′
  3. Fadeless® Designs Chic Chevron – Aqua, 48″x12′
  4. Fadeless® Designs Chic Chevron – Gray, 48″x12′
  5. Fadeless® Designs Classic Dots – Black & White, 48″x12′
  6. Fadeless® Designs Classic Moroccan – Black & White, 48″x12′

Our teacher testers were excited to create classroom back grounds and eye catching interactive items that can be used for the entire school year because of the COLORS and the paper is FADELESS.  Here in Florida, everything changes color in a short period of time.  Not the Pacon Corporation Fadeless Paper!

PaconFadelessTchr1
Our first classroom created a beautiful “Let’s Shine This Year” bulletin board to welcome parents and students to a new school year.  Featuring a sun created with Fadeless Designs Chic Chevron in Yellow, while the rays of the sun are student hands and letters die cut from the same design.  All on a background of the brilliant Fadeless Designs Chic Chevron in Aqua.

Changing up the colors of the Fadeless Designs to create a background for the interactive board where students find success learning time, place value and other activities throughout the year.   Moving around the room students are met with the Fadeless Designs Lime where the ever present punctuation reminders will remain for the school year with a bit of tweaking to draw student attention back to the skills necessary in every writing project.

PaconTeacher2.1
Teacher 2 created a Detective themed classroom that impressed students, parents and fellow staff members.  “Donahue’s Detective Agency” will sniff out clues with the creative use of the Fadeless Designs Classic Dots with magnifying glasses for each student and “Solve Everyday Mysteries” through the assignment boards.  The use of the Fadeless Designs Classic Moroccan Black & White design covered a boring file box where students close case files (aka assignments)in their respective personal Jr. Sleuth files.

PaconTeacher2.2
Topping off the classic black and white detective theme, the teacher covered her desk with the remaining Fadeless Designs Classic Dots pattern.  Not a speck of the Pacon Fadeless Paper went to waste as this teacher lined bookshelves that can act as areas where students may find additional clues to close all cases the common core throws at them this year.

PaconTeacher3
Teacher number 3 started on the OUTSIDE of her room where she used a school bus die cut hanging on the wall where students gather at the respective bus number for dismissal every day (a true test of the Fadeless Paper.)

Beginning the school year on a positive note, Teacher 3 read “The Giving Tree” to the class. Students were then given apples made from Fadeless Desigh Chic Chevron Lime paper to label with their POSITIVE contribution to the daily classroom Giving Tree incorporated into every classroom subject for the first week of school.  During Open House, parents were excited to pick ALL of the apples from the giving tree to pick up and donate needed classroom supplies!

This group of second graders can’t wait to practice their spelling words at the Lime Chevron bulletin board.  Spelling is funner with the pretty board!

I don’t think there is a speck of the Pacon Fadeless Chic Chevron and Classic Black & White paper left in the school.  Our teacher testers were thrilled with the beauty the Pacon Fadeless Paper has added to their classrooms.  Pacon could have sent cases and I think it would have all been used throughout the school.

One Penniless Teacher Fan will receive a prize package from Pacon with all of the designs used in our classrooms:

  1. Fadeless® Designs Chic Chevron – Yellow, 48″x12′
  2. Fadeless® Designs Chic Chevron – Lime, 48″x12′

  4. Fadeless® Designs Chic Chevron – Gray, 48″x12′

I would use the Pacon Fadeless Chic Design Paper to cover my ugly file cabinets. They could use some pretty bright colors to match the rest of my classroom.

Love this product! I could use this paper in interactive notebooks, cut out letters and numbers, cover designs for our composition notebooks…….just to name a few!

I would use it for the cut outs too, but I think that it would make a great addition to our lapbooks for reading and math.

As an art teacher I would cut the paper into 10 x 13 pieces to use as fancy frames to showcase my best student artwork!

I would use the paper for notebook covers, for triboard displays on student-created projects, and for student work displays in our hallway and media center.

I teach gifted students in a pull-out program. I would use it to create centers for the different grade levels (I teach 2nd-8th grade).

This would be perfect for the origami cranes we make for Open House! I also love the ideas people have mentioned about covering unattractive furniture. I have the most grody old rusty file cabinet that could use a facelift.

I would use these to cover some shelves in my classroom. The paper would look great in my clear sleeve notebooks for my children, too.
