Pacon Classroom Keepers Management Center #Giveaway (X 10/5/14)

ProductSpotlightMgmtCtr

Organizing a writing center for students is a never ending job.  Every time you walk by the center, you stop to straighten or fix something.  How can you get students to take pride in the center and instill self motivated skills to tidy up?  Provide the Pacon Classroom Keepers Management Center is a step in the right direction.  The sturdy corrugated unit is a breeze to assemble.  Being the ever present teacher, assembly provided lessons in reading, following directions, and teamwork demonstrating to students real world examples of why the skills they are learning in school will transfer to a lifetime of information.  Not to mention the sense of pride and accomplishment when the final Classroom Keeper Management Center was assembled and displayed for all to see.  Cue the ohhh and ahhhh!

Another lesson revealed itself determining the necessary equipment and supplies to be placed into the Classroom Keeper Management Center to make our Writing Center a fully functioning area to demonstrate writing skills covering the entire Common Core State Standards.  Lists were created by students were graphed showing a clear picture of the items needed.  Delegation and distribution of the supplies completed our math lesson!

Easy to use, colorful and attractive, compartments of our center contain, plain white paper, and lined notebook paper along with stamps, stamp pads, pencils, colored pencils, erasers, scissors and journals providing students with everything in one place.  Topped off with individual journals to house all of the writings of students which serves as a visual representation of the progress students are making throughout the year.  Students will enjoy looking back at their increased writing skills at the end of the school year.

A writing center wouldn’t be complete with out dictionaries, and bulletin boards providing cues and examples of punctuation and proofreading on the bulletin board.

I love the idea of using it as a writing center! Right now our writing materials are scattered everywhere around the room.

I would use this as a writing center. My tiny special education resource room needs all the help with organization it can get since I have 5 different grade levels doing 4 different subjects in and out of my room all day.

This would be a terrific writing anchor center for my kinder-bears. They are just learning to explore the wonders of letters, sounds, and words. The shelves would be a great way to change out stationary products to keep things lively and the other areas would be a big help to keep resources. I have very limited space in my classroom, so this unit would help enormously. Thanks for the chance to win one.
