I am a VERY visual person. Like this if you are like me and NEED a calendar view of deadlines, due dates, etc.
I searched high and low trying to find something that would automatically create a calendar view of dates when posted items expire. No luck! I then set out to figure out a way and came up with this.
Although a bit time consuming, upon initial creation, I have streamlined the process so that it only takes a couple of minutes to add each post to the calendar.
Why are the items green? I have many calendars, personal and blog. To keep track of the calendars when viewing all on one, I needed colors for each calendar. There is no other significance other than it looked better than the other choices.
I THINK anyone can select an item from the calendar to add to their own personal calendar to set up a reminder. At least, that is what Google says. Since I’m the owner of the calendar I can’t test it. I would be indebted to any of you willing to take this baby on a test run and let us know how it works for you.
