Discovered in 1999, asteroid 1999 RQ36 has been without a name long enough. NASA and partners Planetary Society; MIT’s Lincoln Laboratory and the University of Arizona need your help in naming this solar rock (I’m sure that not PC!).
The official Name That Asteroid website, The Planetary Society has all the necessary information to assist your search for a name. Entry requires parent submission.
Prize:
Your name bestowed on asteroid 1999 RQ36 via public video r phone conference with mission team members who discovered the asteroid.
