Manage Classroom Decibels

NoiseDown
I don’t usually post much in the way of apps and technology because that is another beast.  I received an email about using Noise Down as a manager in the classroom.  Basically, you set the appropriate noise level in the app.  That will take a bit of trial and error to establish.  Then let the app do the work.  When the level gets above your designated level, the alarm will sound.  Name that alarm for future reference, “Johnny yelling,” “Susie screaming,” etc.

This could be a wonderful tool for those behavior issues on an individual basis, or as a general class manager.

Tell us:  Have you used the Noise Down App?  How are you using the app in your classroom.  New to the app, come back and give us your input.
