Teachers today are spending more and more of their own salaries to provide students with essentials no longer provided due to budget cuts. Local businesses often sponsor weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual giveaways for teachers.  Teachers may not even know about a program in their back yard for a multitude of reasons.

I was contacted by The Husband & Wife Law Team of Breyer Law Offices.  Attorney Mark Breyer grew up the son of a teacher, experiencing first hand the time and finances educators contribute.  His brother is now a teacher as well.

Two years ago Mark and his wife/attorney Alexis Breyer started a monthly program rewarding Arizona teachers with a $250 classroom supplies gift card.  Plus they partnered with Peter Piper Pizza who provides the winning teacher’s class with a pizza party.

Adding the personal touch, Mark personally awards the teacher with the “goodies” in front of the class!  Now that is exciting!  Watch how exciting the presentation is for the surprised teacher and students!

The Teacher Appreciation Program at Breyer Law Offices is for the state of Arizona.  Let’s try to compile a NATION WIDE list of businesses.  Creating this list is going to take everyone.

I’ve created a Google form for ANYONE to add a local business supporting teachers with monitary awards.  Everyone is encouraged to add one or more businesses in your area.  AND the document is available for everyone to view and locate community support.
