Toobaloo helps students really HEAR what they are saying in order to improve speech.  Another fantastic use is for students to real aloud to themselves for improved comprehension.  When I was in college reading Shakespeare, the only way I could come close to comprehending was to read aloud to myself!  I’m sure many students experience the same issue–not related to Shakespeare!  I can also see these used in foreign language classes!
