Every two weeks (I think, working on clarification), Science NetLinks reveals a New Mystery Image.  Some images are easier than others, but ALL offer teachers a science-related discussion to come up with a class response.  The image is a CLOSE-UP of a science related object with the full image displayed at the end of the contest period.

Should a student feel strongly about their individual response, encourage them to enter as an individual while you enter the “CLASS” guess.

The incentive (along with bragging rights of being correct) is a $50 gift certificate to Carolina Biological.

Create a calendar reminder, or ask students to remind you to enter the contest every two weeks.
