We’ve all had students with something noticeably different.  Over the years, I had plenty of students who wore an eye patch for many reasons.  Being different is difficult for some students, others embrace the difference and make it their own, just as the upcoming book, “Jacob’s Eye Patch.”  Based on the content, this would be a great book to have in your teacher arsenal when that student arrives, and in the school library!
