Chesapeake teacher raises $16k for OK victims

We’ve all seen the HORRIBLE devastation caused in Moore, OK and are wondering what can little ‘ole ME do to make a difference. Working together through the brainstorm of blogger Ashley Benoit from The Teacher’s Treasure Chest, fellow teacher bloggers donated their Teachers Pay Teachers product to help Ashley raise money for the tornado victims. Within days, the movement gained momentum to raise nearly $15K. Donations will be sent to the Red Cross Oklahoma City to benefit the Moore victims.

The concept is simple. Through the Pay Pal link on The Teacher’s Treasure Chest, make your donation of $25. Complete the Google Form. Ashley will send you $250 worth of products.

This is a win-win campaign expiring tomorrow. I hope the local news story about Ashley’s campaign will be picked up by the network!  Please share far and wide!
