Is there a school in the country that can’t use a makeover? Not in my opinion.
The Healthy Playground Makeover Sweepstakes is one of the easiest playground makeover sweepstakes I’ve seen. No essay justifying why the school needs a playground! You know what I’m going to say next….
Spread the word in teacher, classroom, school, PTA newsletters, run a banner on the school website, make a tab on the school Facebook page, email blasts, get the community involved with fliers posted at local businesses, order CHEAP fliers or business cards from Vista Print. Invite the feeder schools to participate, past students at the middle/jr. high and high school know the importance and have HUGE circles of friends!
If the school doesn’t have a Facebook page, set one up solely for the purpose of getting a new playground. You can even set up a way for parents and community members to sign up for a daily email reminder to complete the entry form for this and other playground sweepstakes and contests.
Dang, I’m motivating myself with this post! Like this if you are motivated to commit to a playground campaign!
Use all of these avenues to the fullest advantage to snag that playground makeover.
Think of the amount of votes the school could accumulate if the ENTIRE community gets involved. Voting daily is a contribution everyone can afford and would love to participate in the possibility of WINNING for the children.
