I was reading an article on marketing mistakes made on Facebook that caused a light bulb moment.
I was one of the millions that did not like the changes Facebook made to the newsfeed. What made Facebook think they knew what I wanted to read in my newsfeed? Obviously Facebook (along with the banks) heard the complaints of the consumer loud and clear because the choice was given back to us. Grrrr…..Facebook!
I thought that was the fix until I read this article. Facebook still decides what is delivered in your news feed based on your interaction with your “likes.” Simply liking a page or friending a person does not guarantee 100% of the posts will be delivered to you. Grrrr….Facebook!
Here’s the light bulb!
The more you interact by liking or commenting on posts of pages and friends, the more these will be delivered to you. Still not 100%! Grrrr….Facebook!
The only way you will see 100% of the posts is to actually visit the Facebook page! Grrr….Facebook!
Bottom line:
- Do NOT rely on Facebook to see everything posted by the Penniless Teacher.
- Like and comment on the Penniless Teacher posts on Facebook
- Visit the Penniless Teacher Facebook page a few times a day.
- Enroll to receive the blog posts from the Penniless Teacher by “subscribing via email. Summaries are delivered at 5:00 pm ET daily.
Grrrrr….Facebook!!!
Don’t forget to comment or like this post 😉 Grrrr…..Facebook!

You can also create a list and put it on there and click that every day and you will see all the posts! Works great that way. It’s ridiculous FB has done this though.
