My class wrote and published their book entitled “Our Favorite Holidays.” They love hearing their individual pages read aloud.

My kindergarteners love The Kissing Hand. I read it on the first day of school to help with their first day ever in a real school setting (for most of the kids). After reading the story I place a small heart shaped sticker on each of their palms. When they feel uneasy they just close their palm and know everything will be alright.
The perfect first day of school book. When it first came out, I recommended it to all teachers in my school.
