I am so thrilled by the participation of Comic Book stores holding events to give free comics to children.  When I was a kid–back in the dark ages–we loved comic books.  Wait, nothing has changed in that arena—kids still love comics.  They just have a much LARGER selection than we could have imagined!

Halloween ComicFest will be held the weekend before Halloween, Oct 26 – 27, 2013.

Find a participating store in your area to send your students to visit.  Better yet, contact them–I’m betting they will work out some kind of a deal with you!  wink, wink.  Give it a try and let us know what happened.
