Several weeks ago, I had the pleasure of becoming re-acquainted with NAEIR through Paula at Right Road Kids.  When Penniless Teacher first began, I found NAEIR, but knew that teachers would not spend the money for a membership, and as individuals are not classified as non-profits.  The folks at NAEIR realized this and began a FREE teacher program.

The National Association for the Exchange of Industrial Resources, aka NAEIR, formed relationships with many companies over their 35 year history donating AMAZING classroom items to teachers for only the cost of handling.  Peppered in the description of EVERY item, NAEIR is very clear with the rules:  “By requesting this item you confirm that any merchandise your organization receives from NAEIR must be used for the care of the ill, the needy, or minors and cannot be bartered traded or sold.”

Encourage the school administration or PTO/PTA to purchase a membership at the ROCK BOTTOM price of $59 per year.  School and educational non-profit organizations will save much more than the membership costs ordering items from NAEIR instead of normal channels.  I am BLOWN AWAY by the products available!

Inventory is dependent upon donations to NAEIR!  If you see an item wanted, order it NOW, it may not be there later.  ALL NAEIR members receive a DAILY email highlighting sale items, or new arrivals.  Watch for that daily email and OPEN it ASAP.
