Would you select the first books to arrive, or would you include the class in the decision. Providing ownership empowers the class. Your selected books will arrive within 30 days giving you the perfect introduction material for your students. Challenge your students to write QUALITY reviews of books received. For every FIVE quality reviews, you’ll receive a new book. Then the process begins again. The more your students write those reviews, remember five for each book, the more books the class receives! Build reading skills AND build the classroom library in one swoop–GENIUS!
A read aloud would jump start your program as guided lessons are provided leading students to the proper techniques to writing a “QUALITY” review. Bookopolis includes links to Free Discussion Guides and Author chats
After signing up as a teacher, I received an activation email. Be careful here! After logging in, click YES you want to participate to receive the book sign up form. This is where you select your THREE FREE Books. Teachers then set up their class and select or enroll students tying the accounts together for accountability of reviews. Bookopolis is very robust. Teachers may choose to monitor students through the teacher portal.
Get the program up and running in your class. This could become a school-wide challenge or pit classroom against classroom. Promote reading under the guise of a challenge….<giggle>!
