    Each book has been controversial and/or banned somewhere by ALA or other organizations due to content. (Which usually means, they are the first books I use to help spur discussion :-)).

    Thought to be too horrible for public scholl children so they were forbidden to be read
    Funny thing is that the more controversial a book is for school students the more people want to read it.

    They are all on the List of most commonly challenged books in the United States (re:censorship).

    These books are all banned somewhere and they all are controvesial. Though I had read some of these titles when I was in school.

    They’ve all been banned! And, I’ve read all but 2 (so of course I’ll look for those next time I’m at the library!).
