Local energy companies are a wonderful grant source.  Do you live in an area serviced by First Energy companies? If you have service from one of these companies, you qualify:  Ohio Edison, The Illuminating Company, Toledo Edison, Penn Power, Met-Ed, Penelec, Jersey Central Power & Light, West Penn Power, Mon Power and Potomac Edison.

PreK – 12 grade classroom teachers may submit classroom projects dealing with science, technology, engineering or math to be considered.  Projects must be completed during the 2013-2014 school year.   See additional eligibility on application.

Submit your application for this STEM grant of up to $500 by Monday, Sep. 16, 2013.

Recipients will be notified by Monday, Oct 7, 2013
