The backyard of my childhood didn’t have a tree. My Dad hated that! For Father’s Day one year, we purchased two oak trees which thrilled my Dad! Within the past year, I visited the area and drove by the house. The two trees we planted that Father’s Day long ago were huge, providing shade for the house. Under the tree were toys for small children. The family now residing in the home will never know how important those trees were to our family from the time they were planted.
