Waaay back in September, I posted information about the Glidden Colorful Classrooms Contest. Principal Kim Orr entered her school, Jefferson Elementary of Gallup, NM. Kim let us know in the Penniless Teacher Facebook Forum her school was a finalist asking for our help by voting for Jefferson Elementary. So many of you helped by voting!

If you Google Jefferson Elementary School, Gallup, NM, you will see all of the posts for votes along with local newspaper stories asking for votes from the community. SEE—it does work!

Glidden is providing 200 gallons of paint, labor and a community celebration! Glidden was so impressed with the votes the top 5 received they gave ALL finalists the top prize of 200 gallons of paint!
