I am in a school district where every classroom is equipped with ceiling projectors connected to a computer and document camera. I know we are a minority school district in that technology arena.
Casio America LampFree Projector Division is rewarding one classroom in every state—all 50 of them–with an Ultra Short-Throw Projector to the winning Eligible School from each State. Approximate Retail Value of each Prize: $2,000.00
Schools must educate students on mercury and how it can effect a young person’s health. Students should then create a 300 word essay responding to, “How to reduce the hazards of mercury on a young person’s health.” Schools then select the best essay to submit to Casio Education.
The fun part—-spread the word for friends, family and community to vote for you school’s essay.
If school is still in session for you, you have a leg up on many schools because you might get this in before school is out. If not, meet with your principal to discuss a school wide initiative, or just go rogue and do your class or classes!
Contest is open to U.S. K-12 schools! Need votes, let us know so we can help you out.
