Teaching 5th grade, I have students that come into my classroom that could barely read to those that are working on a high school level. I love the idea because it makes the students think. This last year my school switched our math curriculum and the students were struggling with open ended answers like these because the previous curriculum told them how to solve things but did not teach them how to think for themselves on solving a math problem. I would love to use these in the morning as they come in or right after lunch.

Again, these make the prep time much quicker for the teacher. Thsi also allows a student to come up with their “OWN” answer not what they think might be the correct answer on the answer key. Making kids think on their own is difficult in a right now society. Centers would be a great use of this product or to use when they are finished with an assignment.
