BJ’s Charitable Foundation Education Grant

I’m assuming everyone has heard of BJs.  If now, it is a warehouse membership store, like Sam’s.  To support communities where BJ’s are located, approximately $10 million dollars to organizations progiding services (in the form of hunger prevention, self-sufficiency, healthcare and education) to people in need.  

Specifically programs for education could include the purchase of supplies for literacy skills, mentoring, tutoring and career development.  Although multiple cycles are available, “organizations are limited to one application per 12 month period.”  I’m assuming that “organization” means school–just a guess!

• April 6, 2012
• July 6, 2012

Response dates:

• September 2012
• November 2012
