Discovery Education & American Egg Board “Be A Good Egg Contest” is one you want to publicize through school and classroom newsletters, email blasts, school marque and any other means possible.
Dress a few kids with sandwich boards (as eggs) to draw attention and pass out fliers. I know our school could use this toward a new playground. I posted about the district coming in under the dark of night to remove it! Sneeky boogers!
Initial entry:
- Answer the five question (answers do not need to be correct).
- Enter zip or city/state of school
- Watch a video – just let it play, you don’t have to “watch”
Subsequent entries:
- Enter daily.
- The school with the most votes (weighted by proportion of school population) will be declared the winner.
Prizes:
- One (1) Grand Prize: $5,000 grant to the school.
- Five (5) Second Prizes: $1,000 grant to the school.
Ends Nov. 15, 2012
