Is your school participating in the National Student Mock Election? I was always surprised at how involved the parents wanted to be with the mock election. One year, I had parents bring me political signs for the presidential candidates. I was afraid to put them out!
The other thing that surprised me is the mock election is usually a direct reflection of how parents will vote along with a good indicator of how the nation will vote.
