Scrabble teaches students many necessary skills that will be with them for a lifetime.  It may be a bit late for this year, but take a look at the 2014 National School Scrabble Championship.

Taking place in the home of Hasbro games, Providence, Rhode Island, April 26-27, 2014.  Registration is limited to 100 teams between grades 4 and 8.  Registration is open to U.S. and Canadian schools.

Grand Prize is $10,000 (I’m assuming for the school).
