Like most people, I love the FOOD during the Thanksgiving season. Our schools usually serve Thanksgiving lunch a week before the holiday since it does include the staples. Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, rolls, and pumpkin pie.
I question the validity of the “turkey” as it is some type of processed turkey. I LOVE stuffing.
Here is the question….
What do you call that luxuriously flavorful bread dish?
I grew up calling this dish dressing.
At the school lunch serving line, I asked for dressing. I was perplexed as to why it took the server so long to dish up the request. I was surprised when I was handed a small helping of RANCH SALAD DRESSING.
This tiny little misunderstanding prompted a discussion as to the where each of us grew up, what we called it and what ingredients were included.
Not to mention, the laughter, hoots, and loud discussion completely baffled the students.
What do you call it?
Are you team Stuffing, or are you team Dressing?
